U-Boot (U-505) Type IX C
Walkaround
U-505 is a German Type IX C submarine built for Germany’s Kriegsmarine during World War II. It was captured by the United States Navy on the 4th of June 1944 and survives as a museum ship in Chicago. I believe that the photographs that I have placed on our website will help you understand and help you build your submarine project with a lot of details. We are actually part of history when we build projects like that, that make us happy and share our work with others. I hope you will find inspiration and later we can see more submarines on our contest tables. I wish you good luck with the build.
