VMKP48006 RP-3 60 lb Rocket (Cut Fins) for Hawker Hunter 1/48

In the late 1950s, the veteran 60 lb RP-3 rocket was modified for use on jet and swept-wing aircraft. This version is distinguishable from earlier types by its zero-length rack, cut fins, and snug fit when carried in 2-, 3-, or 4-tier launcher arrangements. These rockets were commonly used by RAF Hawker Hunters, particularly those based at RAF Khormaksar in Aden during the Aden Emergency.
