Low-res image of the decal sheet included in the publication During the last four decades of the twentieth century, the elegant Aero L-29 was the most widely used jet trainer of the Eastern Bloc air forces, with the exception of Poland, and also of a number of developing countries. In addition to its primary and advanced pilot training roles, the aeroplane was used for bombing and rocket attack training and it was also modified for reconnaissance duties. With more than 3,600 Delfins built, Czechoslovakia became one of the biggest jet trainer aircraft producers at the time, testifying to the type's timeless design. The "Dozen Set" line of handbooks is aimed especially at scale modellers. Each title describes twelve particular aeroplanes, documented by period photos, and also brings useful detailed shots which can be utilised in finishing the models.
The publication has 28 pages, including a total of 49 overall and detailed photographs, 12 pages with colour camouflage schemes and their description. Text in English. A comprehensive decal sheet is added for modellers' convenience. Two variants of this title are available, one including 1/48 scale decal set (MKD48007) and another with 1/72 scale decal sheet (MKD72007). Following aircraft are depicted on each decal sheet: Czechoslovak Air Force (2x), Czech Air Force (2x), Slovakia (1x), Soviet Union (1x), East Germany (1x), Bulgaria (1x), Indonesia (1x), Egypt (1x), Iraq (1x) and Georgia (1x).
