This tool, made from Duralium and photo-etched brass, is ideal for scratch-builders.
Designed for flat and round plastic, resin, metal, aluminium and wood, it features a moveable arm which travels along a gauge of 180 degrees divided into one degree increments.
Once the arm is set to the precise angle you need, you can then cut the piece with a saw or blade.
To sand the cut, you only need to move the piece to the opposite end, re-set the angle arm, add sandpaper to the stationary bar, then slide the entire base plate along the bar.
It is particularly useful when you need to cut numerous pieces at the same angle – bridge components, flap hinges, etc.
