UMM25 UMM VojTech™ Hand Sanding Bar XL - Extra Large (W18MM)

We are very pleased to offer our latest UMM-USA tool - the VojTech Hand Sanding Bar.
These bars come in six convenient sizes: Extra Extra Large, Extra Large, Large, Medium, Small, and Fine. Made from polished aluminum and with 6 flat surfaces, these tools are useful in many applications.

Wrap a piece of sandpaper around the surface that best suits the task, then sand as you would with any sanding stick.
The beauty of this device is that you can use any grit sandpaper you want and with dry or wet-sanding - it will not lose its shape or hard edges.
Even though it is a simple tool, it does an amazing job on flat, angled, and curved surfaces, as well as in tight spaces.
Just what you need to clean up those tough areas to reach, like between the horizontal and vertical stabilizers or between wings and engine nacelles.

Though designed to have the sandpaper wrapped around the surface, you can also use double-sided tape to attach the sandpaper to the different facets on the tool. It makes a great straight edge, too.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Choose the appropriate width sanding bar.
2. Select the grit of sandpaper and cut to shape.
3. Wrap the sandpaper around the bar so that its front edge is flush with the leading edge of the bar.
Pinch the sandpaper between your thumb and index finger along the edge of the bar. Sand as you normally would with any sanding stick.

NOTICE: Mr. John Vojtech, the designer of this tool, has been using these sending bars for more than 25 years and when you see his work, you know they produce outstanding results.
Once you try it, you will love it. Originally, these were made from wood which did not hold the edges after prolonged use. These metal sanding bars will last a lifetime.
